I ran into a problem with programs exec:ed by print/acroread8 picking up Linux libraries and thus failed to run. This includes the print program in the print dialogue and the browser configured in edit/preferences/internet. The reason is that the acroread launch script sets LD_LIBRARY_PATH which is propagated to its childs. See this PR: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=ports/129553 Question 1: anybody else that sees this problem? Question 2: what is the "proper" way to fix this problem? (specifically for acroread8, but also in general.) Bengt Ps. Sorry for cross-posting - don't know which list to use for this issue.
