Hello, I'm using a CB 128 PCI with good success under 4.0 and SMP : the driver in the kernel config file is pcm (this driver is a new implementation of the pcm driver of the 3.x branch) TfH Steve Price <sprice@hiwaay.net> on 13/02/2000 23:15:40 To: freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG cc: (bcc: Thierry HERBELOT/FR/ALCATEL) Subject: SoundBlaster PCI128 Hi all, I know this was talking about not too long ago, but with the mailing list search engine down on freebsd.org I can't go look it up. I have an SMP machine running 3.4. It has a new SoundBlaster PCI128 card that I'd like get working. I've tried the devices shown in LINT and the OSS sound driver. The former never found the card and the latter panics the machine. :( Can anyone who has this working enlighten me as to the correct configuration? BTW, the OSS driver recognizes the card as the following: Sound Blaster PCI / Ensoniq AudioPCI (ES1370) TIA, -steve To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
