It doesn't matter whether the system gets compiled with vanilla optimization (-O2) or -O3 -march=3Dnative (latter is that what I use). Either this is a general bug in the BSD patch replacement or there is an issue with CLANG 3.3. By disabling WITH_BSD_PATCH in /etc/src.conf (commented out) and having world and kernel compiled with optimization -O3 -march=3Dnative the port in question installs. This problem needs further investigation, I think.
