It's a sort of one shot question. I'll see what I can do. But being new, have you got some pointers as how to 'reset' an install procedure? I can't deinstall, since it claims it wasn't installed. Yet I can't install (from scratch) since it claims it was (partly) installed. Catch-22. All I can find using grep is something in the mod_ssl part, but that refers to an OUTSIDE parameter. I distinctly remember having typed in a lot more than just "OUTSIDE". Good thing I don't log out . Found it in the history. What it asked me to provide prompted me to restart the install thus: "make install USA_RESIDENT=NO | less" a partial grep found it used in this file: /usr/ports/Tools/portbuild/scripts/portbuild Hope this sheds some more light on the issue.
