The cdrom problem mount problem was introduced around 22 August and
fixed on 31 August. It didn't affect building but using a CD as an ata
device once you had a userland and kernel built.

What do you mean by slow connection? I found a lot of how long
cvsup-ing 4-stable required was how busy the server was. My cvsup
times varied between 4min and 16min over a 56kb modem. Then I switched
servers and got times on DSL of around 1 min.
