If the Braille display can take a RS232 serial input then you can configure
FreeBSD to use one
of the PC serial ports as it's console.

Subject: Use of Braille display with freebsd.

    Hallo there!
Does anyone know someone using a Braille display on a freebsd nbox? Or
is there anyone who knows how to get such a display to work with freebsd?
I know there are a couple of drivers which does the job for Linux.
However, I have not heard of any blind bsd-user.
I've checked quite a few faq's, and rtfm'd the manual without success.
I am a fairly competent user of Unix, but then I used it at the
university, using a Linux machine to telnet into a rhost. So, I've no
sys-admin experience.
I would greatly appreciate help from someone out there.
    Thanks very much.
    Lal.
