The modem isn't = detected by FreeBSD and I can't find any information on configuring the = kernel to support this *&$% modem. Does FreeBSD support this type of = modem? Is this **&%#$ thing a Win modem?If not, how do I configure my = kernel and get the *&%$^ thing installed? I noticed under Win 98 a PCI = serial device was detected before the modem was detected.=20 Ironically, I had a ISA modem in my hand and almost bought this modem, = but went against my best instincts.
