The maintainer is loathe to update it because the existing port took a lot
of hacking to get into shape for our ports collection, and subsequent
releases didn't have all the parts in one place, making it a lot more
difficult to update. (At least that's my understanding.)
Personally, I've started using the netscape installer. It installs
everything into /usr/local/netscape, so it's pretty well behaved in terms
of install/deinstall. The only thing I don't like is that you must install
AIM in 7.02. If you don't, the skin rendering gets confused, and you end
up with a totally blank page (no controls, no nothing).
