Hello,
I'm trying to get a pnp modem working under fbsd 4.0. This modem was =
previously working under fbsd 3.4, I'm wondering what has changed in =
either the pnp driver or the serial driver between 3.4-release and =
4.0-release?
My maching has two physical comports in it, 1 and 2. If I disable 2 =
sio1, I get the modem showing up on sio4, resources 2f8 and irq3 if I =
reinable sio1 I don't get a thing. The modem's identifier is in sio.c. =
What I'm wondering is, is there a way to change how either pnp or the =
serial probe detects the modem, I want to change the i/o address used, =
so I can reinable sio1, since the two of them seem to be conflicting in =
some way.
    Thanks.
Dave.
