Hello Andrew,
i know PCI Express Moxa cards are supported on freebsd (they provide 
proprietary drivers): http://www.moxa.com/product/CP-104EL.htm

Anyway, i'm only using the ethernet to RS232 devices from Moxa, and they 
work pretty well.
