A shorter URL:

	<http://www.ita.sel.sony.com/products/pc/notebook/pcgc1xs.html>;

I successfully got 3.2-RELEASE on this box's predecessor (a PI 266
MMX box). Really cute. Cool sound, too. Looks like a big Walkman. :)

Gotchas:

- the supplied USB-based floopy drive can be booted from, but
  FreeBSD knows jack about it. Last I heard (circa this past
  summer) was that said floppy was 'next on the list' of targets
  by some fanatic group in Japan (hi, guys!).

- this beast has no serial ports. It does have a modem, an IR
  port, etc, but no good, old-fasioned DB9 or miniDIN or anything.
  Presumably, a PCMCIA card would do, but I like having a network.
  :/ Is there such a thing as a USB serial port?
