Install the /usr/ports/net/socks5 port and set up the /usr/local/etc/socks.conf and /usr/local/etc/libsocks5.conf files according to the manpage (I think that's the right one). Then you can use 'runsocks <command>' to 'socksify' most (dynamically-linked) executables, and there are also a bunch of provided commands like rftp, rping, etc, which 'natively' talk through the firewall.
