Plus 1 I run Debian unstable on a production machine, and it's far more stable than any Windows box. I wouldn't be using it to run my business otherwise. Use the stable release for servers, and it's hard to go wrong. In the apt.sources list enable non-free and contrib. and you will have access to any firmware required for just about anything out there. Very much looking forward to BSD experiences, however. I remember an install of TrueOS when that was still happening, and it was as solid as a rock. The house felt as though it was anchored by it. https://www.extremetech.com/extreme/155392-international-space-station-switches-from-windows-to-linux-for-improved-reliability https://www.linuxjournal.com/article/3024 https://www.zdnet.com/article/to-the-space-station-and-beyond-with-linux/ https://www.fsf.org/blogs/community/gnu-linux-chosen-as-operating-system-of-the-international-space-station https://www.computerweekly.com/blog/Open-Source-Insider/International-Space-Station-adopts-Debian-Linux-drops-Windows-Red-Hat-into-airlock Cheers!
