This isn't amd specific, but this is the only FreeBSD list I am on... I have a FreeBSD 4.8 server running amanda backup with a DLT changer. I can 'mt comp off' to turn compression off, but it doesn't stick after a tape change. On my linux servers, I use stinit to force compression to always be off. What is the FreeBSD equivalent? -- Christopher McCrory "The guy that keeps the servers running" chrismcc@pricegrabber.com http://www.pricegrabber.com Let's face it, there's no Hollow Earth, no robots, and no 'mute rays.' And even if there were, waxed paper is no defense. I tried it. Only tinfoil works.
