By this logic, we should be converting the ports that depend on > tcl7.5 too. :-) I thought we weren't going to do things like that? > > Jordan I thought it was more a question of nobody figuring out _how_ to get tk4.1 to use the tcl in the tree... :-/ Last time I tried, I gave up, from memory it wanted to refer to some things in the tcl7.5 build that are not present ("tclConfig.something" from memory), and the base src version does not use the standard library names (ie: it has libtcl.so.75.0 instead of libtcl75.so.1.0, and so on. The "official" command to link with tcl7.5 last time I saw it was "-ltcl75") It shouldn't be hard to fix, and I'd love the disk space back by getting rid of one of the copies. Cheers, -Peter
