You can do two things; 1) Set =E2=80=9Crsyncd_enable=3D"Yes"=E2=80=9D in /etc/rc.conf, to make rsy= ncd start automatically. 2) Log in as a normal user. (This user should be in the =E2=80=9Cwheel=E2= =80=9D group.), use =E2=80=9Csu=E2=80=9D to become root and then run =E2=80=9Cservice rs= yncd onestart=E2=80=9D. Since I don't want rsyncd running when I don't need it, I prefer to use the second method. Direct root logins are generally disabled and frowned upon for security reasons.
