Conclusion of linked thread is not clear. CARP cannot be loadable, ok, 
but why cannot be included in standard kernel?

The same for AltQ, IPFW, PF, or other features widely used.
The most of ISP like me using FreeBSD will use at least one of these 
features, so we are excluded from freebsd-update.
