Ross, there is not much usb camera support on freebsd. someone ported a driver for usb cameras based on the ov511 chipset from linux to freebsd. there is a post (by me) somewhere in the multimedia mail list archives about where to find the source. and linux also has support for most 'cpia' chipset cameras.
