Hi John,
   Yes indeed that does now appear to work! See:

 ~ $ smbclient -L Demon -N
added interface ip=3D<my__IP> bcast=3D192.168.1.255 nmask=3D255.255.255.0
Anonymous login successful
Domain=3D[VICKIANDSTACEY] OS=3D[Unix] Server=3D[Samba 2.2.6]

	Sharename      Type      Comment
	---------      ----      -------
	netlogon       Disk      Network Logon Service
	IPC$ IPC IPC Service (Samba Server)
	ADMIN$ Disk IPC Service (Samba Server)

	Server               Comment
	---------            -------

	Workgroup            Master
	---------            -------
	VICKIANDSTACEY.     =20
~ $=20

Thanks for that. Not to sound too forward, but do you know of a good
(step_by_step) how-to for configuring a Win2K Pro Wkstation to my
domain?

Thanks again!

Stacey
