Some people would like to use them with a SCSI CD-ROM even with a MO
at install time.

Some ncv cards were sold with CD-ROM. I think Ninja SCSi-3 (nsp) chip
is the latest one and cards which uses it are currently available at
about $50 or below in Japan. Since `aic' based PC-Cards are (were)
little expensive, ncv, nsp, stg cards are more popular than aic cards.
I would like to see them in kern.flp.
