Subject:   burncd(8) with DVD+R how?

Is there anyway to burn a DVD+R with 'burncd' or any other software that
doesn't involve atapicam..?
DVD+RW works fine, except for that burncd wait forever to complete the format.

CPU: Intel Pentium III (598.06-MHz 686-class CPU)
real memory  = 334430208 (318 MB)
