Without the source handy, I reimplmented biff(1) from scratch with the new functionality. I later brought these over to FreeBSD when I started (around 2.2.2). It also implements a quiet mode for simply checking on the status. >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: Below is a shar archive containing a completely reimplmented biff(1) as well as an updated man page, neither are diffs, although the man page should be. # This is a shell archive. Save it in a file, remove anything before # this line, and then unpack it by entering "sh file". Note, it may # create directories; files and directories will be owned by you and # have default permissions. # # This archive contains: # # biff.1 # biff.c # echo x - biff.1 sed 's/^X//' >biff.1 << 'END-of-biff.1' X.\" Copyright (c) 1980, 1990, 1993 X.\" The Regents of the University of California.
