Other package modules, like bsdpan, will have their own way of advertising what's available. The only way to tie this altogether is to use an API with functions like: * which_package_modules() # Returns a list of modules that are # installed. /usr/ports isn't # necessarally installed. * which_packages(module_name) # What packages are available under the # specified module. It may be necessary # to have this function available as a # more general search function. * install_package(module_name, package_name) Joe --lFd1dPlLw0MeZdw2 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (FreeBSD) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iEYEARECAAYFAjvMezMACgkQXVIcjOaxUBbngACg59N6ePMqm2lQN1MjzVkZ6uTW xKUAnRsN6nBiHbrvU3bXAjDtwtGQWpKS =dFia -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --lFd1dPlLw0MeZdw2-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-binup" in the body of the message
