This is obviously a matter of perspective. For better or worse, the FreeBSD project has a hierarchy of members. Those with commit bits were informed in some detail. We made a decision, based at least partially on dillon's right to privacy, not to paste it all over slashdot, for example. Those of you who are not committers lose out. Sorry.
