I have just installed FreeBSD 2.2.2-RELEASE and now im getting a strange error messages when someone loggs in from remote or from the console. Below is a part of my logg file. Jun 4 18:43:02 ns su: login_getclass: unknown class 'root' Jun 4 18:44:23 ns su: login_getclass: unknown class 'root' Jun 4 19:02:14 ns inetd[4326]: login_getclass: unknown class 'root' Jun 4 19:06:34 ns inetd[4348]: login_getclass: unknown class 'root' Jun 4 19:06:49 ns su: login_getclass: unknown class 'root' Jun 4 19:08:57 ns inetd[4406]: login_getclass: unknown class 'root' Jun 4 19:09:34 ns su: login_getclass: unknown class 'root' Jun 4 19:27:27 ns login: login_getclass: unknown class 'root' Jun 4 19:46:24 ns login: login_getclass: unknown class 'root' Jun 4 19:46:40 ns login: login_getclass: unknown class 'root' Jun 4 19:48:13 ns login: login_getclass: unknown class 'root' Jun 4 19:58:09 ns login: login_getclass: unknown class 'root' Jun 4 20:18:56 ns inetd[180]: login_getclass: unknown class 'root' Jun 4 20:20:23 ns inetd[201]: login_getclass: unknown class 'root' This is also echo'd to the console. I don't know what this meens, On this particular mashine i was running 2.1.6 before i reinstalled 2.2.2 from scratch and there where no promblems with that older version, maybe there is some configuration that have changed between these two versions that i dont know of. Can you tell what the problem is from the information in this email or do you need more information of some kind. It also say "Warning: Imported path contains relative components" when "root" loggs in on the console, maybe that has something to do with it, it don't know. I would be most thanfull for any ideas or suggestions that you might have. Regard Patrik Astrom, TV3 Stockholm-Sweden Patrik Astrom Airtime AB/TV3 Stockholm +46-8-56202400
