"31.5.7 IPMON Logging" states: IPMON in -Ds mode uses security as the =E2=80=9Cfacility=E2=80=9D name. This is not correct. =20 ipmon(8) states: -L <facility> Using this option allows you to change the default syslog facil- ity that ipmon uses for syslog messages. The default is local0. Using security.* in syslogd.conf will result in a log file that is never wr= itten to, whereas local0.* works as expected.
