Mainly for the server.

I believe you're still @ 2.0.5 and XFree86 3.1.1.  The S3 server was
known to eat up mucho memory, and that's what has finally caused the
debate (and perhaps triggered phkmalloc :).

XFree86 3.1.2 uses gnumalloc by default, and XFree86 is moving towards
their own malloc for the server (it's already in the latest beta, and
it seems to work fine).
