I've seen something like this for /etc/rc.conf

pccard_enable="YES"
pccard_ifconfig="inet 1.2.3.4  netmask 5.6.7.8"
Replace the numbers with your own
Do a man rc.conf
And also look at /etc/defaults/rc.conf
