There's a pointer to it in the FreeBSD-stable documentation in the FreeBSD handbook <URL: http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/handbook226.html#467>. You can get the CTM files from <URL: ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/FreeBSD/CTM/src-2.1/>. } I'll try an IP dl for one system, then try your make release } solution. Mine are all nearby, so it's not a real problem to reconfigure } the IP's and bring them inside the firewall to do the ftp install. There's not much in the way of documentation. Basically, you cd to /usr/src/release and "make release". In my case it requires somewhat under 450 MB in /usr/release (no games, X, and a few other things removed and some added), and about 6 hours on a P-133 as I recall. If you've got access to a CD burner, then you should be able to make a CD release. I'm moving things inside the firewall to do ftp installs. --- Truck
