When i update this port it's tested in tinderbox. http://marcus.grupos.com.br:8080/logs/4-STABLE-FreeBSD/mailman-2.1.8.log Can you try traditional method to update? "cd /usr/ports/mail/mailman && make all deinstall install clean" and report if it fail.
