Hi All,
This laptop has a couple of problems with FreeBSD-CURRENT
of about 1999/12/22 12:00 UTC.
The system hangs with the disk drive light on.
The output of boot -vc captured from the serial port follows.
current of about 1999/12/11 works in PIO mode.
The machine has a built-in modem that appears to be on the pci bus.
The sio1 probes fail.
If the modem is on the pci bus, what would it take to get it going?
I noted that sys/dev/sio was purged awhile ago. Has anyone worked on
pci serial/parallel stuff, like the SIIG cards? Should sys/dev/ed be
used as a model?
It also has a soundsystem and CardBus, but first things first.
