I actually misspoke (mistyped?) myself.. the last cvsup I did, two days ago
now, was to 4.2-S.. still the same problem with an IBM DOS 5.0 floppy.  I
tried to dd an image, and boot from that but there was no difference.

What flavour of DOS are you using?
