Don't you mean the 'dc' driver?

Can you try 6.0-RC1?  My laptop is performing well for a variety of
cards that I've tested.  Ping times are identical for my built-in fxp
card and a CardBus fxp card.  Granted, I've been testing on 7-current
mostly.
