i am doing some kernel debugging and tracing and have suddently received a
message when the kernel boots about there being too many symbols and that
there is some kindof BIOS limit?

C:2048>1023 (bios limit)

this happens just as the symbols are being loaded into memory after the boot:
prompt.

the kernel that i'm using has been config -g 'd.

is there some way i can change the bios limit or reduce the number of symbols?
