I've got an HP LaserJet 5MP at home and it works great with a2ps (available as a package/port). I only send postscript stuff to it, but it worked right out of the box with a very simple printcap. I believe it autodetects Postcript or PCL by default. Check out the extensive section on printing in the FreeBSD handbook. Sean Kelly did a great job! If you have problems with your printcap, you can email me offline and I'll send you mine. Dan Eischen deischen@iworks.InterWorks.org
