Well, I juste notice that an old -current FPU performance problem went
in 4.x. This may result in penalty for execution times up to 100%
with intel processors and 30% with AMD procs. Try
http://people.freebsd.org/~jmz/slow_fp.sh for a script demonstrating
the bug and look at
http://www.FreeBSD.org/cgi/getmsg.cgi?fetch=438552+441872+/usr/local/www/db/text/2000/freebsd-current/20000507.freebsd-current
for a discussion and a fix.
