I am using FreeBSD 2.2.6. I compiled the package and then my kernel. Everything worked fine. Now, I want to call my ISP using ISDN. I am using a Fritz!-Card which is well recognized by the kernel - no problem. What I need is a short hint to what I will have to do next. What I have done: I read several manpages. Okay, not bad, but I missed a short description how to establish a ppp-connection to an ISP. My question: Can anyone tell me what I will have to do to establish a ppp-connection? The configuration concerning my ISP: I have got a dynamically assingned IP-address. I do not know the IP-adress of the remote host. I have got the number (sure!). Authentication is pap. How can I dial out? How can I hang up the isppp0-device manually? Which file Do I need to create or edit? It would be great of you if you can send me a few hints. Thank you very much for your answers. Bye, Stephan To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isdn" in the body of the message
