Subject: VM problem?

I've noticed a consistent strange error in 2.1 and 2.1.5 RELEASE
that seems like maybe a VM bug. When the same program is being
executed over and over again (e.g. /usr/bin/awk from a loop in
a csh script), after a long time (several thousand iterations),
the system will complain "Permission denied" when trying to
execute the program. So for example, I'll see:

/usr/bin/awk: Permission Denied

But if I restart the script, the problem goes away, until a
while later. Also, if I slow the script down, the problem is
much less frequent.

Couldn't find any reference to this problem in the bugs list.
Is this a known problem?
