...which is of course true and works most of the time, BUT not always.

I will always remind you of remote GDB, because I experienced it myself
how good this feature is. I was in situation where I couldn't produce
crash dump no matter what I did (and I did everything according to the
rules). The remote GDB was the only option left, and I regretted I
discovered it so late...
