There is no major changes from 6 to 6a, they simple replace function with define and slightly cleanup macros. xv does too special processing, so why it is affected. I don't expect other ports goes so deep in libjpeg internals as xv does, so I think they can be compiled clearly and only major will be changed, but I am not shure, of course. I fix the ports I am familiar with, I don't know other ports internals and don't have enough time to try all of them, maybe it is affected ports maintainers task? BTW, because you already build ports on regular basis, just change major and bug me, if something not compiles clearly, I'll try to fix. -- Andrey A.
