Can anyone point me in the > right direction to get /usr and / mounted from the mirror using fixit? in a recent situation which might be related, i was able to make progress with fixit only once i burned a 7.1 livefs cd. with 8.0 cds i got nowhere. with 7.1, it wasn't necessary to boot from cd1 and then insert livefs for fixit. the livefs disk booted str8 into sysinstall.
