Maybe he meant the ability of gpm to interract with some
applications.  This would be added to FreeBSD either by emulating
gpm or by adding specific support for our mouse api.  The latter
is probably not too difficult---ask sos to tell you which
manpages to read, and then start hacking ncurses.

Alternatively, Thomas Dickey has indicated that he might even be
willing to write support for our mouse api provided we tell him
where the documentation is.  :-)

Anyways, I did look at this briefly before, and I don't think it
would be much work.
