I'd suggest avoiding using HTML to format mail - it just causes 
problems....

Are you really missing the linefeed ?

Sigh.  I have no idea what your config file says - perhaps you mean

  set dial "ABORT BUSY ABORT NO\\sCARRIER TIMEOUT 5 \"\" ATE1Q0M0 OK-AT-OK \\dATDT\\T TIMEOUT 40 CONNECT
  set redial 3 10

(Isn't ascii wonderful :-I)

Remove your default route setting from /etc/rc.conf.
