I wonder if the mplayerhq folks have decided to pull faac from lavc since identical code is available using either lavc or faac. It is possible (likely) that the man pages are a bit behind the state of the RC code. In any case, I will modify my tools to use '-oac faac -faacopts ...' -- R.
