The burnt DVDs work on other OSes (with the same and different drives). My DVD burner is a DVR-108. See the attached dmesg for details. I've also attached my dmesg, because I believe it could be related to some unsupported chipset. I will try with hw.ata.atapi_dma="0" and report here.
