This is basically a duplicate of PR conf/34729; even the included
patch is the same :)

Can you try Sheldon Hearn's suggestions in the audit trail of conf/34729,
and then send a follow-up to that by sending a message with a subject
line of 'Re: conf/34729' to bug-followup@FreeBSD.org?
