This utility http://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/incoming/pm.cpio.gz supports relatively convienient access to the P6/P2 performance counters. This code will not work with a P5, or on SMP systems. -- John dyson@freebsd.org jdyson@nc.com
