Grrrr... Try: *FvwmWinListNoAnchor As long as the geometry is set to a "++" value, I have found that the default behaviour is the same as the anchored behaviour, that is to grow the list downwards. But it doesn't exhibit that creepy bug :-) I suspect that the bug has been fixed in the latest (beta) version. 2.0.46 is a rather old (beta) version.
