Minor annoyance. 8-)

Forgot about /dev once and noticed this...

Here's the commits:

jkh 1999/07/05 01:39:01 PDT

  Modified files:
    etc/etc.i386 MAKEDEV
  Log:
Bump the number of vtys created to compensate for new demands created
  by /etc/ttys.

  Forgotten by: des

  Revision Changes Path
  1.200 +2 -2 src/etc/etc.i386/MAKEDEV

And it's predecessor:

des 1999/07/04 08:06:23 PDT

  Modified files:
    etc/etc.i386 ttys
  Log:
  Feed the vty monster.

  Revision Changes Path
  1.4 +7 -2 src/etc/etc.i386/ttys

Why was this change made?

Just cause the monster was hungry?

Well then he's got a surplus as well, since he wants ate^H^H^H eight and
has 12, er 11 (need one don't we). Three for the road then. 8-)

At least MAKEDEV doesn't create all 256 psuedo terminals listed in /etc/ttys.

No complaints, just a wondering.
