In the subatomic world scientific laws will also become useless if you go behind certain size. In general the things you really want to know can not be modelled scientifically..either because there are way too many variables, or because it is really impossible. Also remember most of the scientific laws we use daily are FALSE. Newton was wrong, and a physicist friend of mine commented that Maxwell is wrong.
